Di-Gata Defenders is an action-adventure series targeting boys six to 12 with a healthy dose of comedy thrown in for good measure. Each episode of the 26 x half-hour show follows the legendary quest of young heroes-Seth, Melosa, Erik and Kara-charged with finding the four Pure Stones and retiurning order to their world. The four adventures, off-spring of the original Di-Gata Defenders, have been sequestered in training since birth, preparing for evil's return. Once embarking on the quest, the evil's return. Once embarking on the quest, the heroes encounter their share of villains, including good-guy-gone-bad Lord Nazmul, his chief advisor Brackus, the bruiser Malco and Flinch the Scientist. An exciting overlay of the 2-D toon with 3-D effects is the competitive entertainment experience of the Di-Gata Battle, which involves casting Di-Gata Stones. These six-sided cubes bear one or more of the Eight Power Sigils on each side and can contain powerful Guardian creatures. When cast, the stones draw upon the mystic energy that below the surface of the realm, and unleashes it in the form of pure power.
